Reseska Apiaries, Inc. started out of curiosity as Andy Reseska, started beekeeping as a hobby. Andy has a background in the food business and wanted to get back into something to do with food.

Beekeeping was the ultimate occupation! Produc-
ing honey, enjoying the outdoors, and at the same time, helping farmers pollinate their crops.

It didn't take long to get his whole family involved. Our knowledge of apiculture grew with our number of colonies.
Beekeeping became a sideline business, and soon after, turned into a full-time job, and truly, a “labor of love”.

Our son continues to grow with the business, and today our High Schooler plays a major role in the beeyard. He is an important contributor to the grafting and raising of  queens, as well as working out in the beeyards. We feel very fortunate as a family to work together and enjoy each other's company.

Our business comprises of honey production, pollen collection, pollination services to area farmers, beekeeping supplies, honey processing equipment, and sales of nucleus colonies.

Our mission statement:

As beekeepers, devoted to sustainable and organic beekeeping practices, our goals are:

  • Produce the highest quality honey available without the use of antibiotics or miticides.
  • Further the consumers' awareness of the important role honeybees have in our agricultural and natural environments.
